Educated to degree level or high-level equivalent qualification
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA)
Experience and Track Record
Proven track record of strategic financial management, including significant treasury management experience
Successful experience and competence in the effective management of significant budgets and achievement of financial targets
Track record of developing effective and high quality financial and customer services in a changing and dynamic environment
Experience of successful business planning and stress testing
Experience of managing compliance within financial and regulatory requirements
Experience of successful funding management and dealing with financiers
Experience of developing and implementing business plans and other related planning documents
Experience of assessing the strategic financial risks of all Group Partnerships
Successful evidenced track record of leadership. Able to demonstrate the vision and values in dealing with customers, staff, partners and senior figures
Experience of the overall strategic leadership of an ICT and digital teams is desirable
Evidence of operating collaboratively as one team at senior strategic level to take collective responsibility for overall performance and leadership
Experience of working collaboratively building successful working relationships with all key stakeholders and providing strategic financial and business planning advice to executives and non-executives
Experience of effectively initiating and managing significant organisational change, successfully achieved in a creative and inclusive way
Experience of working with Non-Executives in a variety of environments
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to think strategically, balancing logic and intuition
Knowledge of funding sources and the ability to network effectively with potential funders
Up-to-date knowledge of legislative frameworks, regulatory requirements, professional standards and best practice relevant to the post

Knowledge and experience of risk appraisal and assessment to ensure appropriate delivery of business case

Understanding of commercial activity and developing new initiatives, evidenced by strong critical reasoning and perceptive judgement skills
Ability to network and build collaborative working relationships with partners within and outside the Group
